CARE Digital Storytelling

During June 2016, CARE conducted digital storytelling activities. Digital storytelling (DST) is a learning/creating experience supported by IT technology, allowing participants to create their own short films containing voice, imagery, and music, as a powerful means to obtain information on a project’s outcomes from participants’ experiences and viewpoints.

From June 3rd to June 7th, 2016, CARE prepared and conducted TOT trainings (Training of Trainers) in DST for four partner organizations: NSHC, Nexus, Impuls and VCOS. As a result of the ToT training, 12 digital stories were produced, 12 participants trained and equipped with basic facilitation and technical skills to conduct digital storytelling training.

Watch the digitial stories on our YouTube channel, or you can watch them here.

The ToT training activities were financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
