EnInGeP – Enabling Income Generation for the Poor

The project impact is to contribute to a sustainable, resilient, and inclusive private sector development that enables inclusive job creation and income generation for the poor and vulnerable with several specific outcomes: a) development and modernization of the support system for MSME and future entrepreneurs in a gender-sensitive and socially inclusive manner; b) access to finance for innovative and entrepreneurial ideas in a gender-sensitive and socially inclusive manner; c) access to acceleration and digitalization services with a special focus on MSME led by vulnerable women and men. To date project managed to achieve following: a) 180 jobs created or safeguarded, 83 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) recording revenue growth; b) through Digital Empowerment Initiative (DEI), 52 companies from the first two rounds had successfully completed their digitalization projects; c) Five Financial Literacy Workshops, reaching a total of 111 participants completed; d) The project achieved a structural milestone by supporting the Business Consultants Council (BCC) in finalizing the Roadmap for Regulating the Consulting Profession and the accompanying Consulting Regulation Manual and tools; e) all 15 targeted consultants (3 women) from non-majority communities have now been successfully certified as Certified Digital Transformation Experts (CDTE); f) Project managed to reach nearly 950 girls across Kosovo, with promotional activities, while 158 women and girls participated in structured soft-skills trainings, complemented by the DigiWomen Bootcamp, “Ask Me Anything” sessions, and Shadow Days; g) The PR strategy for Kosovo Investment and Entrepreneurship Support Agency (KIESA) developed while roadmap for establishment of Innovation Fund completed and handed over to Ministry of Trade, Industry and Entrepreneurship.
