Dear Sir/Madam,
We invite you to join us for an inspiring event – PITCH and SPEAK: Youth in Innovation for a More Equal Society, organized within the framework of the project “Future for Youth”, which will bring together young people with new energy and ideas dedicated to building a healthier, more equal, and fairer society.
The event will be held in Sarajevo, at Tershouse (Kolodvorska 12), on May 23, starting at 11:00 AM.
What can we expect? During the day, you will have the opportunity to attend pitch sessions, where young people will present prototypes of their solutions to key social challenges – from gender equality and mental health to peer violence and other topics that shape their everyday lives. The event will also include a live podcast, where young speakers will openly talk about socially responsible topics that directly affect them, followed by an interactive quiz that will, in a fun way, test your knowledge of social issues and encourage the exchange of ideas.
This is not just an opportunity to hear what young people have to say – it is a call to reflect, question, and take responsibility. We believe their ideas will inspire you to ask yourself: What can I do?
See you at PITCH and SPEAK!
Attached you will find the agenda. Kindly confirm your attendance by May 19 via email. If you need additional information, feel free to contact us: dereta@care.de.
We look forward to your attendance!
Future for Youth is a pioneering program aiming to revolutionize the education system in the Balkans. The program seeks to integrate life skills education into formal educational frameworks, emphasizing youth engagement in nurturing and promoting gender equality, healthy lifestyles, and the values and behaviors necessary for building peaceful, non-violent, and inclusive societies. Through workshops, youth clubs, and community campaigns, the program aims to promote key life skills essential for the mental and physical well-being of young people.
The project was developed based on the long-standing work of CARE and partner organizations in the field of gender equality and in the territory of the Western Balkans. CARE has been operating in the Balkan region since 1993, implementing local and regional projects and actions addressing gender equality, social justice, and humanitarian aid.
This activity is supported within the framework of the “Future for Youth” project, supported by BAWAG and CARE Balkans.
