More than 300 people participated in “Market research – tasting of lamb from North Macedonian indigenous sheep breed Pramenka Ovchepolka”, organized by association of breeders of domestic indigenous breed of [...]

More than 300 people participated in “Market research – tasting of lamb from North Macedonian indigenous sheep breed Pramenka Ovchepolka”, organized by association of breeders of domestic indigenous breed of sheep “Pramenka Ovchepolka”, in cooperation with Agricultural Cooperative “Eko Ovcepolka”.

The event was organised as part of the Eko Ovcepolka’s registration process and efforts to protect the organic lamb meat production with a designation of origin, geographical indication and guaranteed traditional speciality. The lamb tasting was attended by cooperatives, state institutions, various market chains, German and other embassies, NGOs and donor community.

This initiative was organized within the project “Support to More Competitive and Sustainable Agriculture in North Macedonia”, implemented by CARE International, with financial support from North Rhine-Westphalia.
