Completed Selection Process for Grant Awards Supporting Women’s Entrepreneurship in Serbia

NIŠ, April 16, 2026 – Within the project “EWI – Economic Inclusion and Justice for Women of the Western Balkans,” the selection process for awarding non-reimbursable funds (grants) in goods and/or services intended for women starting or advancing their own businesses operating in Nišavski, Rasinski, Toplički, Jablanički, Pirotski and Pčinjski districts in Serbia has been completed.

The goal of this public call was the economic empowerment of women through direct financial and technical support for the development of sustainable business ideas. A special focus of the project was placed on supporting women from vulnerable and marginalized groups, as well as those conducting their business activities in less developed areas of Serbia, thereby directly contributing to reducing unemployment and strengthening the local economy.

Based on the submitted business plans, and a detailed evaluation and scoring process conducted in accordance with previously established criteria, the Committee has adopted a decision establishing the preliminary ranking list of candidates.

Attached to this announcement are the preliminary lists of applicants in two categories: 

Start Your Business (for new business ventures)

Advance Your Business (for existing businesses planning for growth) List of participants updated in April 2026.

Selected applicants will be timely informed by ENECA regarding the next steps, which include the signing of donation contracts and the planned further technical and mentoring support.

The project “EWI – Economic Inclusion and Justice for Women of the Western Balkans” is implemented by CARE Balkans in partnership with the ENECA from Niš, and in cooperation with regional partners: IPC Tehnopolis (Montenegro), LINK Mostar (BiH), and Strategic Development Consulting (North Macedonia). The project is supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) with funds from the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC).

Završen proces selekcije za dodjelu grantova za podršku ženskom preduzetništvu u Srbiji

NIŠ, 16. April 2026. – U okviru projekta „EWI – Ekonomska inkluzija i pravda za žene Zapadnog Balkana“, završen je proces selekcije za dodelu bespovratnih sredstava (grantova) u vidu opreme i/ili usluga namenjenih ženama koje pokreću ili unapređuju sopstveni biznis i koja deluju na teritoriji Nišavskog, Rasinskog, Topličkog, Jablaničkog, Pirotskog i Pčinjskog okruga u Srbiji.

Cilj ovog javnog poziva bio je ekonomsko osnaživanje žena kroz direktnu finansijsku i tehničku podršku razvoju održivih poslovnih ideja. Poseban fokus projekta stavljen je na podršku ženama iz ranjivih i marginalizovanih grupa, kao i onima koje svoje poslovne aktivnosti obavljaju u manje razvijenim sredinama Srbije, čime se direktno doprinosi smanjenju nezaposlenosti i jačanju lokalne ekonomije.

Na osnovu dostavljenih biznis planova, te izvršene detaljne evaluacije i bodovanja u skladu sa unapred utvrđenim kriterijumima, Komisija je donela odluku o utvrđivanju preliminarne rang liste kandidatkinja.

U prilogu ovog saopštenja nalaze se preliminarne liste aplikantkinja u dve kategorije:

Pokreni svoj posao (za nove poslovne poduhvate)

Unaprijedi svoj posao (za postojeće biznise koji planiraju rast) Spisak učesnika ažuriran u aprilu 2026.

Odabrane aplikantkinje će o narednim koracima, koji uključuju potpisivanje ugovora o donaciji i planiranu dalju tehničku i mentorsku podršku, biti blagovremeno obaveštene od strane ENECA-e.

Projekat „EWI – Ekonomska inkluzija i pravda za žene Zapadnog Balkana“ implementira CARE Balkans u partnerstvu sa ENECA-om, uz saradnju sa regionalnim partnerima: Inovaciono preduzetnički centar Tehnopolis iz Nikšića, LINK Mostar (BiH) i Strategic Development Consulting (Severna Makedonija). Projekat se realizuje uz podršku Austrijske razvojne agencije (ADA) kroz sredstva Austrijske razvojne saradnje (ADC).
