The project implements Program Y with high school students in schools and community settings, promoting healthy lifestyles and gender equality through participatory workshops. The program addresses sexual and reproductive health, communication and negotiation, mental health, substance use prevention, anger management, and violence prevention from a gender-transformative perspective. A strong peer-to-peer approach ensures that trained young educators facilitate workshops, creating trust and openness when discussing sensitive topics. Youth Clubs further strengthen learning by providing safe spaces where young people practice positive behaviors and lead community initiatives.
Overall, the project fosters inclusive environments where youth develop critical thinking, empathy, and the skills needed to build healthy, violence-free relationships.
