The round table on the topic “Registration of individual households” was held today in Milići as part of the campaign “Strengthening the system of services in the employment of marginalized categories – JOINT RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMMUNITY WELFARE”.
The campaign, which is part of the project “Enhancing social protection by building capacities of the civil society organizations (CSOs) in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, is implemented by the Association of Women “MAJA” Kravica in partnership with organizations “Women’s Initiative” COD Luna “Rudo”, Citizen’s Association “Budućnost” Modriča, Citizen’s Association “Otaharin” Bijeljina, Local Action Group “Nine” Sokolac and Women’s Association “Podrinje” Vlasenica.
The aim of the campaign is to strengthen the system for supporting self-employment of marginalized categories in rural communities through the registration of commercial farms.
“The president of the assembly of the municipality of Milići welcomed the round table and promised that in the next period he will have more meetings with the goal of supporting individual household sregistration and will advocate for the allocation of the municipal budget for that purpose,” said project manager Branislav Tanasijević.
The campaign is being implemented in six municipalities: Bratunac, Rudo, Sokolac, Modrica, Bijeljina and Milici with the support of local organizations.
The project “Enhancing social protection by building capacities of the civil society organizations (CSOs) in Bosnia and Herzegovina” is being implemented by CARE International Sarajevo with the financial support of the Austrian Development Agency. One of the project goals is to support the implementation of advocacy campaigns initiated by NGOs.
