The Association of Citizens for the Promotion of Roma Education “Otaharin” will organize a youth camp “Fire up the Activism V” in the Eco Visitor Center from August 25 to 29.
This activity is part of projects “For Active Inclusion and the Rights of Roma Women in the Western Balkans” and “Empowered Youth, Creating a Better Society”, and is implemented with the support of CARE International Balkans.
“After four great gatherings at previous camps, after great challenges with the COVID-19 pandemic, we are organizing a traditional camp again and great socializing and learning awaits our young volunteers, activists and for those who want to become ones”, stated from „Otaharin“.
In the period from 25th to 29th camp participants will discuss topics of leadership, ethics, public speaking and presentation skills, but also modern styles of activism.
In addition to the formal part, there will be “crazy” games, competitions, swimming, singing, filming, quizzes and other activities that will make participants to test their strength, skills, knowledge…
