Pristina, Kosovo – CARE Balkans is excited to announce the successful launch of its new project, “Green Horizons – Youth and Community Led Green Transition Initiative in Western Kosovo”. The initiative was officially inaugurated during a two-day Orientation Workshop held on January 23rd and 24th, 2025.
The workshop brought together a dedicated team from CARE Balkans along with project partners Emancipimi Civil Ma Ndryshe (EC Ma Ndryshe) from Prizren and Syri i Vizionit (SiV) from Peja/Peć. The event also marked the signing of Partnership Agreements between the organizations.





Kicking off on January 1, 2025, and set to run until April 30, 2027, the project will focus on several municipalities, including Prizren, Peja/Peć, Gjakovë/Đakovica, and Mitrovica (North and South).
The “Green Horizons” initiative is made possible through the generous financial support of the European Union (EU) office in Kosovo, aiming to foster sustainable community-led environmental practices across the region.
