Round table “Strengthening the service system in the employment of marginalized categories – Joint responsibility for the welfare of the community”, which purpose was to open a dialogue between partners and improve understanding of the specifics and potential of the development of social entrepreneurship, was held today in Sokolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In order to promote the benefits of social entrepreneurship for the development of the local community, Association of Women “MAJA” Kravica in partnership with organizations Women’s Initiative COD Luna Rudo, Association of Citizens “Buducnost” Modrica, Association of Citizens “Otaharin” Bijeljina and Local Action Group “Devetak” Rogatica, Han Pijesak, Sokolac, conducts activities in the local communities.
The situation caused by the COVID-19 epidemic has once again shown that social entrepreneurship and solidarity are essential for providing timely support.
This activity is part of the project “Enhancing social protection by building capacities of the civil society organizations (CSOs) in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, funded by the Austrian Development Agency with funds from the Austrian Development Cooperation and implemented in BiH by CARE International. The aim of the project is to strengthen the capacity of 5 NGOs in order to improve access to social rights, protection and care of vulnerable in BiH.
