CARE International Balkans calls on the citizens of the countries in which operates to comply with the recommendations of the World Health Organization and measures by other competent bodies at the level of their countries in order to protect and stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Your health is a priority and at the moment the least we can do is to reduce movement, wear protective equipment, and reduce contact. We are aware that this whole situation is taking an extremely long time, and that many citizens are psychologically exhausted, but we are giving you energy and strength, and we are going through all of this with you.

CARE International Balkans has already helped marginalized groups, which were most affected by the pandemic in the countries where we operate. Also we have strengthened health centers with additional equipment in the form of masks and gloves, as well as disinfectants. Thus, we strengthened the health care system.

Our support in this regard continues. Through this crisis, we want to tell the citizens, especially the most vulnerable, that they are not alone, that we think about them, and that we are continuing to implement activitiest to support them and their families in these difficult days.
