The Otaharin Association signed contracts with 10 women, which will be awarded non-refundable funds in the form of goods and materials with the aim of improving their own businesses.

The total value of the funds, which are awarded within the project “Mitigation of the consequences caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in the Roma community in the City of Bijeljina”, implemented by the Association “Otaharin”, is 1,200 EUR.

This project is part of the regional project “Covid-19 Nexus response for improving the socio-economic situation of marginalized people in 6 Western Balkans ”, implemented by CARE International Balkans and funded by the Austrian Development Agency.

The women expressed their gratitude, and especially emphasized that in these difficult times of pandemics and economic crises, such funds mean a lot. In the coming period through the project, more similar activities will be implemented.
