Representatives of CARE International Balkans and 4 BiH non-governmental organizations, within the project “Enhancing social protection by building capacities of civil society organizations (CSOs) in Bosnia and Herzegovina“, on September 2, 2021 will visit Women’s cooperative “Kreativna vizija”, which operates in Rudo with the support of the Center for Responsible Democracy “LUNA”.

During this visit, present representatives will have the opportunity to see the property of a planted rose hip, and get information about the products and activities of “Kreativna vizija”.

Four BiH non-governmental organizations together with the organization “LUNA” are partners in the implementation of  CARE’s project “Enhancing social protection by building capacities of civil society organizations (CSOs) in Bosnia and Herzegovina“, so on this occasion a partnership meeting on project achievements will be held as well.

Media representatives will be able to make stories about the first successful social enterprises’\cooperative’s \workshop’s in Bosnia and Herzegovina, because the visiting NGOs, same as LUNA, already started or strengthened started social enterprises with the support of CARE’s project, which is financially supported by the Austrian Development Agency with funds of the Austrian Development Cooperation.

The social enterprises’\cooperative’s \workshop’s that are funded by this project are: “Agro-plan” from Bijeljina that employs Roma men and women, “Eko Budućnost” from Modriča that employs women, victims of violence, OPZ “Žena”  from Bratunac that employs women from rural areas, and “Životna pomoć” from Goražde that employs people with disabilities.

CARE International Balkans and the Austrian Development Agency strongly support social enterprises, which have only recently begun to flourish in Bosnia and Herzegovina, because they see them as an opportunity that regardless of disability, race, education, nationality, all have equal rights and opportunities in employment.
